Alternative Energy as used
to mean sustainable or renewable energy sources generally embody
such energy sources as Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Water Energy,
[Bio-] Combustibles Energy, Geothermal Energy, and all other sources of energy
spontaneously generated by the earth and sun that captured for power
production. In some respects Hydrogen is also included, however, the
energy hydrogen is considered as internal energy and if
spontaneously derived from nature may also qualify.
In any case, with respect to
the delineated sources of energy, the discussion given here is
incomplete as water energy is not included here although it should.
Water Energy being capture by hydroelectric power, prior the
mainstream use of the Alternative Energy term, is still listed under
Conventional Energy
Sources, although now categorized under current classification
of the Renewable Energy Sources.
However, for the purposes of
systematic analysis of the issues inherent in the adoption of any of
the alternative energy source as a substitute for fossil fuels, the
reviews are aimed to establish the such basis of analysis.
